PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a level of a drive signal outputted from the buffer circuit employing a Schottky FET. SOLUTION: FETs 22, 24, 25 are turned on/off in response to an input signal SIN in the buffer circuit 20 to provide an output of a binary drive signal SOUT. When the input signal SIN is at e.g. logical 'H', the saturation current of the FET 22 flows to ground GND via the gate and the source of the FET 22 and also flows to a resistor 21. Thus, the gate voltage of the FET 25 is increased by a product between the resistance of the resistor 21 and the saturation current more than the case with the absence of the resistor 21. Then the level of the drive signal SOUT can be increased.
