A client system for data transmission under the TCP/IP protocols including a protocol according to which data is transmitted in units of an object comprising a header and a body. The data size of a data portion of the header is defined. Binary data, which is 8-bit codes, such as multimedia data including text data, image data, and sound data is stored in the body portion. A client, such as a portable mobile terminal (3), transmits authentication information simultaneously in transmitting/receiving data. A server (5) conducts filtering of the header value of the object by using an arithmetic expression using a regular expression transmitted from the client and downloads only the object complying with the condition requested by the client. The server (5) produces one object according to a program dynamically loaded into a server application for one request from the client, and transmits it to the client.
