PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT apparatus capable of efficiently taking in slice directional measuring data of a multislice type X-ray detector. SOLUTION: A switch circuit is arranged between the multislice type X-ray detector and a detecting circuit part, and an intake range of measuring data measured by an X-ray detecting element (N channels×N slices) of the X-ray detector is controlled by the switch circuit in response to the size of FOV. At this time, a data intake quantity to the detecting circuit part is restricted to a half, for example, N×Y (=M/2). Since the FOV is small in an illustrated example, a channel directional measuring range is set to N/2 channel of a half, and a slice directional measuring range is set to 2Y of two time instead to be thereby controlled by the switch circuit so as to respectively take measuring data equivalent to one channel of the X-ray detector by a Y slice quantity in order in the detecting circuit part by separating dividing the measuring data into two times so that N×Y data is taken in by intake of N times in total.
