A attachment 202 for a drinking vessel 200 comprises an elongate liquid-impermeable receptacle having coupling means 206 for retaining the upper end at or adjacent the top of a drinking vessel with the lower portion of the receptacle extending within the vessel. The coupling means 206 may comprise a clip 206 or hook for engaging over the rim of a vessel. The coupling means may alternatively comprise a lid (14) for a drinking vessel (10). The receptacle (18) may have an opening for the insertion of ice cubes, etc, and the lid may have a cover portion (15) with a through-hole (17) in register with the opening. The upper end of the receptacle may be sealed to the lid wound the through-hole. The lid may have a further through-hole (20) for insertion of a drinking straw into the vessel. The receptacle may have a weight 214 in a lower region which may be in a sealed compartment. The receptacle may comprise an elongate bag 212 or flexible film material. |
