PURPOSE:To improve the adhesion of a poly(arylene sulfide) to metal or other inorganic substrate while maintaining good properties inherent in the polymer, such as heat resistance and solvent resistance. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition comprises, as essential ingredients, a coupling agent and an epoxy-modified sulfide obtained by reacting a poly(arylene sulfide) with an epoxy resin in a polar organic solvent. |
