PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the situation where bubbling is estimated in spin operation to prevent the bubbling. SOLUTION: An output frequency S1 from a water level sensor is stored as initial value (step Q4), and a washing machine motor is driven by carrying current to rotate a rotating basket 4 for spinning (step Q5). During this spinning rotation, an output frequency S2 from the water level sensor is read (step Q8), and it is judged whether or not the water level increases by the portion of the output frequency of 0.2 kHz (step Q9). When it is judged that the difference (S2-S1) exceeds a reference value, e.g. 0.2 kHz, or when it is judged that the spinning water quantity increases by a prescribed water quantity, a control for reducing spinning water quantity is executed (step Q10).
