PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject frozen food having a heat-treated fish paste as the ingredient thereof and enabling cooking thereof to be finished in a short time, and to provide a method for producing the frozen food. SOLUTION: This frozen food is characterized by using a heat-treated fish paste as its ingredient. The other objective method for producing the food comprises such processes that a raw material fish paste is heat-treated and frozen, and a coating is applied to the resultant frozen food while kept in the frozen state followed by freezing the coating; wherein the food is coated in such a way as to be firstly battered and coated with bread crumbs, and secondly battered and coated with bread crumbs. The raw material fish paste contains shrimp or cut pieces of prawn, or vegetable saute. |
