METHOD FOR PREPARING FIREPROOF DISC OF INSULATING FLOAT

PURPOSE: A method for preparing fireproof disc of insulating float is provided which simplifies manufacturing process more than conventional method and provides the fireproof disc having improved performance. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of: (i) mixing raw materials wherein, 100 parts by weight of ceramic fiber, 50-200 parts by weight of filler and 5-50 parts by weight of heatproof binder are used as main materials and ripening the mixture; (ii) drying and processing the mixture to prepare circular plate discs of equal standard; and (iii) after ply-binding the discs at fixed thickness by simply compression-processing the discs, post-treating the discs to prepare the fireproof disc.
