PURPOSE: A media storage card removable cassette for a tape recorder is provided to serve as an adaptor mounted on a tape recorder by having a media storage card in a removable form, whereby an MP3 music file stored in an existing media storage card is compatibly applicable to a dedicated player, namely MP3 player and also to an existing tape recorder, such as a small size portable audio set or a car audio set, etc. CONSTITUTION: A cassette main body(31) is mounted on a tape recorder in a removable form. A media storage card receiving part is arranged on the cassette main body(31) so as for a media storage card to be received therein in a removable form. An input terminal(33) is installed in the media storage card receiving part(32) to be electrically connected to a conductive layer, which is electrically connected to a chip provided in the media storage card and be exposed at one surface thereof in a constant pattern. A circuit driving part inputs and outputs an information recorded in the media storage card into an electrical signal. A circuit substrate(34) is embedded in the cassette main body(31) so as for the circuit driving part to be connected to the input terminal(33). An output terminal(35) is installed in the cassette main body(31) to be electrically connected to the input terminal(33), thereby outputting the information recorded in the media storage card(20) into a signal through a connection with the first magnetic head.
