SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TRANSFERRING TELEPHONE MESSAGE INFORMATION BY E-MAIL

PURPOSE: A system and a method for transferring telephone message information by e-mail is provided to report the existence of a message left in a user's absence or its contents by e-mail. CONSTITUTION: A user carries out setup for absent telephone message processing after connecting a telephone and a PC(301). If a phone call is made in his absence(302), a voice message processing part informs the caller of his absence and starts recording for a message inputted from the caller(303). The voice message processing part processes the message according to the set procedures and informs a mail processing part that the new message has been arrived(304). The mail processing part transfers the processed message to a mail address appointed by the user(305).
