PURPOSE: A method of manufacturing a semiconductor display device is provided to enhance luminous characteristics by forming a ferroelectric plate through a plasma spraying followed by flattening through a sol-gel method. CONSTITUTION: Address electrodes(32) made of Al are formed on a glass ceramic or metal substrate(31). Ferroelectric powder such as SrTiO3, PbTiO3 and BaTiO3 and low melting point glass powder are melted and sprayed to form a ferroelectric plate(33). A flattened layer(34) is formed on the ferroelectric plate(33), and a luminescent layer(35) is formed on the flattened layer(34). The flattened layer(34) is applied on the ferroelectric plate(33) through a sol-gel method to fill voids residing in the surface of the ferroelectric plate(33). An upper dielectric layer(36) and transparent electrodes(37) are formed in the surface of the luminescent layer(35) in sequence. |
