<p>A process for producing a silicon-containing polymer having a backbone comprising an oxygen atom, an organic group, and Si-H; and a process for producing a silicon-containing polymer having a backbone comprising an oxygen atom, an organic group, and di-substituted silicon. The silicon-containing polymers are produced by polymerizing a quinone and/or a diol with trihydrosilane or dihydrosilane with the elimination of hydrogen in the presence of a palladium catalyst.</p> |
