Systems and devices for the transdermal delivery of the compound (R)-(Z)-1- azabicyclo[2.2.1]heptan-3-one, 0-[3(3-methoxyphenyl)-2-propynyl]oxime are disclosed. These devices include a drug in adhesive reservoir layer and a sk in contacting adhesive layer in which the skin contacting adhesive layer acts a s a rate controlling membrane. These devices also include a drug in adhesive reservoir layer and a skin contacting adhesive, where a membrane is placed between the two adhesive layers. The compound is a muscarinic agonist, usefu l in the treatment of a variety of cognitive disorders, including Alzheimer's Disease.
