PURPOSE: An agent for chromate pretreatment of hot dipped galvanized iron is provided to improve coating adhesiveness as well as corrosion resistance after applying chromate on hot dipped galvanized iron. CONSTITUTION: The agent for chromate pretreatment of hot dipped galvanized iron includes: 40-100g/L of a mixed solution comprising at least one nickel salt selected from nickel sulfate, nickel nitrate and nickel chloride and at least one cobalt salt selected from cobalt sulfate, cobalt nitrate; a mixed solution of which fluorine ion concentration is 50-90g/L, and comprises fluoric acid, potassium, sodium and ammonium; a mixed solution of which phosphate concentration is 30-80g/L, and comprises organic phosphate such as dimethyl phosphate, diethyl phosphate and diphenyl phosphate.
