Thermoplastic c2-alpha-olefin copolymer blends and films with good heat sealing and puncture resistance

A thermoplastic C2-á-olefin copolymer resin blend and flexible films thereof having heat sealing and puncture resistance properties are disclosed. The polymer blend comprises at least three polymers, i) the first polymer having a melting point between 55 to 77oC and comprising a copolymer of ethylene and at least one á-olefin ii) the second polymer having a melting point between 85 to 110oC and comprising a copolymer of ethylene and at least one á-olefin iii) the third polymer having a melting point between 115 to 130oC and comprising a thermoplastic polymer. Also disclosed is a biaxially stretched, heat shrinkable film comprising the above composition.
