PULSE TYPE RADIO RANGE FINDER

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulse type radio range finder for measuring a distance using as a front edge of a received wave a point of time where the received waves classified into an H-level and an L-level are switched from the L-level to the H-level. SOLUTION: This pulse type radio range finder for measuring a distance upto a radio wave reflection point based on a time from a transmission to reception measured by transmitting an emitted pusle radio wave from a transmission part 12 to receive a reflected wave on the ground face continuously is provided with a an A/D converter 21 for A/D-converting the received wave, a memory 22 for storing a converted data and an H/L-classifying part 23 for reading out the data from the memory 22 and comparing it with a reference voltage output from a reference value setting part 24 to be classified into the H-level or the L-level. The distance from the transmission part 12 upto the radio wave reflection point is measured using as the front edge of the received wave the point of time where the classified data is changed over from the L-level to the H-level, in the range finder.
