The invention relates to a device that comprises several dispersion-compensation modules (60, 62, 64) which can be individually integrated into the optical waveguide path or be removed from said path by connecting or bridging the respective module inputs or outputs. Said optical waveguide path guides the optical signal (Sin) to be transmitted. The inputs and outputs are connected/bridged by means of electro-optical 2x2 switches (52, 54, 56, 58) for instance, whereby each compensation module (60, 62, 64) is arranged in the optical waveguide path between two switches (52, 54, 56, 58). |
