PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a warm water heating apparatus capable of reducing the repetition of interruption/restart of combustion to prevent the life of an instrument from being shortened, and further reducing electric power consumption for operating a circulation pump to save energy and silencing by changing revolutions of the circulation pump. SOLUTION: Heating operation of a warm water heating apparatus is controlled by switching the following first air conditioning control pattern and a second air conditioning control pattern. The first air conditioning control pattern is such that the heating operation is subjected to combustion amount proportional control when warm water detection temperature is a temperature zone before and after warm water set temperature in a circulation pump 13 strong operation, and maximum combustion is kept unchanged in the temperature zone or less, and further minimum combustion is kept unchanged beyond the aforesaid temperature zone to the combustion interruption temperature. The second air conditioning control pattern is such that in circulation pump 13 weak operation combustion is interrupted up to combustion restart temperature after the combustion interruption, and combustion is restarted about in the middle combustion when the temperature is lowered to combustion restart temperature and the operation is subjected to combustion amount proportional control in the temperature zone before and after the combustion restart temperature, and further the maximum combustion is kept unchanged in the aforesaid temperature zone or less and the minimum combustion is kept unchanged up to combustion interruption temperature exceeding the aforesaid temperature zone. Thus, repetition of interruption/restart of the combustion is reduced for energy saving and silencing of the circulation pump.
