METHOD FOR DRAWING LARGE-SIZE PARTS OF VEHICLE BODY

SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of drawing blank in die set having holder for clamping edges of blank; at drawing process along line of contour of drawn part forming ¤-shaped braking lip; then trimming blank along line passing on apex of formed braking lip; after trimming straightening remained portion of braking lip with drawn blank. Straightening is realized at operation of subsequent forming. Trimming line is spaced by 2-3 mm from outer radius of braking lip. EFFECT: enhanced manufacturability of drawing process, lowered technological allowance for blank. 2 cl, 2 dwg
