PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lighten the load of an operator who manually input capacity, and to prevent mistake when the capacity is inputted by automatically detecting the capacity of a reagent rack at the side of a device. SOLUTION: A capacity seal 31 is applied to a specific position of a reagent track 1 for accommodating a reagent bottle 7. The capacity seal 31 records capacity information for indicating the capacity of the reagent rack 1 by bar- coding. The capacity seal 31 is read by a bar code recorder 24 for reading the name of a reagent in the reagent bottle 7, thus automatically detecting the capacity of the reagent bottle 7 at the side of a device, lightening the load of an operator who manually inputs the capacity, and at the same time preventing mistake when the capacity is inputted for inspecting.
