<p>A regenerative type carbon dioxide separator and a carbon dioxide separating system, capable of reliably effecting carbon dioxide separation with extremely high efficiency by a much simpler arrangement than in the prior art. Carbon dioxide in exhaust gases can be absorbed and separated by defining a high temperature region and a low temperature region around a rotor and simply rotating the rotor. Therefore, it is possible to realize a maintenance-easy, highly reliable absorption separation system which can be extremely simplified, greatly reducing regeneration costs. The same effect can also be attained by a stationary arrangement. Further, the use of lithium zirconate, alkali metal oxides and/or oxides of alkaline earth metals as an absorption-separation agent provides chemical and mechanical stability and enables reversible stabilized absorption and release of carbon dioxide.</p> |
