PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice recording device which previously informs an operator that sound recording is not ready before sound-recording operation is done. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a recording medium 11 where sound data are recorded, a detecting means 5 which detects whether or not the sound data can be recorded to this recording medium 11, and notifying means 1, 15 which give notice of the detection result of the detecting means 5 in response to a return from an operation mode where the power consumption is low to a normal operation mode or a return from a hold state when the device is powered on. |
