The hollow system accommodates a fibre optic unit which allows indirect visible control from the tracheal hollow system end. The outer diameter is small enough to enter the endotracheal tubes. The curvature controlling mechanism can be used by one hand. The apparatus can also incorporate a light source, and has a coating.
