PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber tire exhibiting an excellent tractive force and a small rolling resistance. SOLUTION: A rubber composition is provided which comprises a novel mixture consisting of a styrene-enriched styrene/isoprene/butadiene segment terpolymer elastomer and at least one auxiliary elastomer. A tire having a tread comprising the rubber composition is also provided. The tire can exhibit an excellent tractive force and a small rolling resistance.
