PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce electric power, and to reduce weight by reducing an arranging space of a surrounding monitor. SOLUTION: This surrounding monitor is composed of a camera 2 having a fisheye lens 21 fixed above a moving body so as to turn downward by installing the fisheye lens 21 for taking in an overall view image of surrounding 360 degrees, a radio transmitter 3 for transmitting data on the taken-in overall view image of the camera 2 by radio transmission, a radio receiver 6 for receiving data on the overall view image from the radio transmitter 3 in a remote control position, a distorsion correcting device 7 for correcting distortion of the overall view image generated by the fisheye lens 21 by taking in data on the overall view image from the radio receiver 6 and a display 8 for displaying an image corrected by the distortion correcting device 7.
