The invention relates to novel compounds of formulae I, II and III <IMAGE> (I) <IMAGE> (II) <IMAGE> (III) wherein R1 is hydrogen, C1-C20alkyl or C5-C7cycloalkyl, R2 is hydrogen, C1-C20alkyl or C5-C7cycloalkyl, and R3 is C1-C18alkyl or C3-C18alkenyl. The compounds are used as antiwear additives for lubricants.
