PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a finishing machine capable of indirectly measuring and displaying precision of a surface to be ground of a work supported on a table without performing detaching and retreating operations. SOLUTION: An X-axis guide rail 21 is provided on an upper surface 11a of a bed 11, and an X-axis table 22 is freely reciprocatively supported along the X-axis guide rail 21. A camber amount sensing member 42 forming a camber amount detector 41 is mounted to a lower surface of the X-axis table 22, and a camber amount detecting element 43A is mounted to the upper surface 11a of the bed 11. A control device 45 and a display 49 are connected to the camber amount detecting element 43A, and a camber amount of the X-axis table 22, i.e., precision of a grinding process for the work W, is displayed on the display 49.
