PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting-demounting transporting device for a side-ditch cover plate, which can be gripped and the can be conducted safely in a short time. SOLUTION: The mounting-demounting transporting device for the side-ditch cover plate is composed of frames 5 installed to the lower sections of an operating arm 2, a cover-plate gripping means 9 mounted in front of the frames and a pair of left-right wheels 8 set up at a rear, and the cover-plate gripping means comprises a clamp arm 10 fitted under a vertical state, a pair of left-right pushing pieces 14 secured to a horizontal member 13 bridged to the clamp arm and a hook section 11 installed at the lower end of the clamp arm and extended in the front direction.
