PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microstrip array antenna in which a resonance frequency band can be made wide, and a circular polarized wave can be generated. SOLUTION: A power supplying strip line 13 extended straight and 10 pieces of radiating antenna elements 14a-14j connected with the line 13 are formed on a first dielectric substrate 12 whose one face is provided with a ground conductive layer (ground plate) 11. In this case, the radiating antenna elements 14a-14j are shaped so as to be rectangular, and connected with the power supplying strip line 13. The interval (d) is set as in-tube wave lengthλg of the power supplying strip line 13 with designed frequencies, and the length (the length of the side from the connecting point to the open edge) is set so as to be about half of the in-tube wavelengthλg. The first radiating antenna element group 14a-14e and the second radiating antenna element group 14f-14g are respectively arranged so as to be shifted only by d/2. Then, circularly polarized elements 17a-17f are arranged in the upper layer of the radiating antenna elements.
