PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make recognizable that any adjacent vehicles are separated too much not visually and to make the vehicles able to meet each other even if they are separated too much. SOLUTION: This touring supporting method for navigation devices supports touring in which two vehicles 3a and 3b or more travel in the front and rear toward a destination. (1) One succeeding vehicle 3b informs the navigation device of the other preceding vehicle 3a of the location of the succeeding motor vehicle 3b. (2) The navigation device of the preceding vehicle 3a monitors whether the distance L between the adjacent two vehicles exceeds a set distance Ls or not, issues an alarm when it exceeds the set distance Ls, and then informs the navigation device of the succeeding vehicle 3b of the meeting point at the time when a meeting point is set. (3) The navigation devices of the vehicles 3a and 3b each guide its own vehicle to the meeting point. |
