PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To directly visually confirm gas leakage caused in the interior of a joint in a simple constitution in a job site. SOLUTION: A pipe 4 is inserted in a female nut 2, and a pipe 5 is inserted in a male nut 3, respectively. The male nut 3 is screw-engaged with the male nut 2. Both pipes 4, 5 are butted to each other through a gasket 6. An indicator 7 is mounted on a detecting hole 2a provided in the female nut 2. The indicator 7 is constructed so that a piston 9 and an indicating rod 10 are sealed in an indicating cylinder 8, and they are vertically movably provided. A hole 12a provided in a lower seal tap 12 of the indicator 7 is adapted to introduce leak gas generated in the closed space 20 of the female nut 2 into the inside of the indicating cylinder 8. At this time, the indicating rod 10 is pushed up by the piston 9, thereby indicating the occurrence of gas leakage to the outside. |
