PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device with enhanced operability that visually indicates which processing various functions of the image forming device implement. SOLUTION: In the image forming device such as facsimile device (composite machine) with a copy function and a digital copying machine, contents of various image edit functions and processing functions conducted for copying an original onto recording paper are displayed on a display screen 28a of a display section as a list form where each character and each graphic are illustrated in pairs. For example, when an operator places a cursor onto a column of 'intensive copy' shown in A and selects its image edit and processing function, graphics indicating as if images on originals 1, 2 were copied on one recording paper sheet are moved on the display screen as an animation picture so that the operator can visually understand the processing contents of the 'intensive copy'. |
