PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system adopting a pre-payment method for a mobile phone being a composite terminal that can utilize two kinds of communication services as a telephone function and a data communication function. SOLUTION: A charging data management section ancillary to an exchange station stores all available call unit information denoting a remainder of a pre-paid charge, phone call unit available information shared to phone speeches and data communication call unit available information shared for data communication for the composite terminal so as to manage the phone speech charge and the data communication charge separately so as to avoid inconvenience of users that too much consumption of one function (phone speech or data communication) limits the use of the other function.
