PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dynamically assign functions to operation keys of a remote controller that acquires operation menu information from a device and uses the information to apply operation control to the device and to guide the function in voice. SOLUTION: Information relating to each button included in the operation menu information acquired from the device and function assignment information stored by the type of the devices or by the device are referenced to assign functions to operation keys and to display the functions to a guide section. In the case of applying an operation input to the guide section, a corresponding button is identified to reference text information, and voice information included in the button information are referenced and outputted in voice.
