The bearing for a component with high rotary speeds, and especially for the spinning rotor of an open-end spinner, has a cylindrical bearing bush (2) for the rotor shaft (1) with a pair of spaced steel races. Each race has a row of roller bodies (3) in a cage (4). In each row, at least one roller (3) is of silicon nitride (Si3Ni4), and the remaining roller bodies (3) are of steel. In each row of roller bodies (3), there are fewer rollers of Si3Ni4 than roller bodies (3) of steel.
