PURPOSE: Provided is a method for discriminating whether or not same goods of same price are stored in a vending machine, which is characterized in that different goods of same price are differentiated; sales for each good can be totaled; a location of a column in which same goods are stored can be identified; and a sold out lamp corresponding to a pertinent column is not needed. CONSTITUTION: The method for discriminating whether or not same goods of same price is stored in a vending machine is composed of the following steps of: (a) fixing the price of each goods stored in a vending machine; (b) selecting and fixing a column for goods of the fixed price; (c) selecting and fixing other columns of same goods of same price; and (d) returning the step (a) and then repeating the above steps for other goods.
