PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a ball from dropping even in case where a sliding table is separated from a track table, to improve rigidity of a cage, to secure smooth rolling without contact of a rolling ball and the cage in using of a bearing, and to easily align a sliding table, a track table, the ball cage and a cover body. SOLUTION: This linear sliding bearing 25 is composed of a track table 16, a sliding table 19, a cover body, a ball cage 1, and a rolling ball 20. In the ball cage 1, the rolling ball 20 is held by a space part having the slit width narrower than the diameter of the rolling ball 20. A boss is projectingly provided on the inner side surface of the cover body. Boss holes are provided in the corresponding positions of the ball cage 1 and the sliding table 19 to align them. When the sliding table 19 is mounted on the track table 16, the rolling ball 20 is pushed out in the direction of the sliding table 19 by the groove surface of a track groove 24 provided on the outer wall of the track table 16, and it is smoothly rolled in a state where it is not in contact with the ball holding part 1.
