PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rodent prevention material 6 effective for closing a void for ventilation 2 in the sill-section structure of a wooden building 4 in which spacers 3 for forming the void for ventilation 2 are interposed on a continuous footing and a wooden sill 4 is laid. SOLUTION: The rodent prevention material for the sill of the wooden building has a vertical plate section 9 composed of a beltlike net body and abutted against the external side face 4a of a wooden sill 4 and used for fixing by nails 8 or the like in a sectional shape in the cross direction of the vertical plate section 9, a tilting plate section 10 bent and continuously connected from the lower end of the vertical plate section 9 to an internal oblique lower section and an outwards sideways projecting plate section 11 bent and continuously connected outwards from the lower end of the tilting plate section 10, the tilting plate section 10 is fitted into a void 2 between a continuous footing 1 and the wooden sill 4 supported on the continuous footing 1 through spacers 3, and the inner end of the outwards sideways projecting plate section 11 is placed on the continuous footing 1.
