PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hair cosmetic capable of providing the hair with flexibility, moist feeling and smoothness, having excellent feeling in use and finish feeling. SOLUTION: This hair cosmetic is prepared by formulating glucomannan with keratose cationized with a quaternary ammonium salt, another oily component and an aqueous component. The hair cosmetic thus obtained is excellent in feeling in use in terms of hand stickiness and easy combing properties, excellent in conditioning effect in terms of smoothness and luster of hair and excellent in water retention effect.
