PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing Nemacystus decipiens by which the flavor and taste of just harvested Nemacystus decipiens alga can be enjoyed throughout the year. SOLUTION: This method for harvesting, preserving and producing live Nemacystus decipiens alga comprises harvesting the Nemacystus decipiens, removing contaminants from the Nemacystus decipiens, cooling and storing the Nemacystus decipiens, storing the Nemacystus decipiens in an ice temperature zone, draining the Nemacystus decipiens and then packing the Nemacystus decipiens under vacuum. Preferably, the product obtained by packing the mixture of 1 part of the Nemacystus decipiens alga with 2 parts of sterilized sea water is stored at ice temperature or in a frozen state. |
