PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a termiticide causing little harm to mammals and surrounding environment, and having strong insecticidal activities and repellent activities against termites. SOLUTION: This termiticide contains a natural essential oil comprising pennyroyal oil and/or a neem oil as an active ingredient. The termiticide can be impregnated in a porous carrier such as a zeolite to sustain the effect for a long period. Further the termiticide can be mixed with an insulation material for building, such as a foamed polyurethane to achieve a heat-insulation effect and an insecticidal effect simultaneously.
