PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To repeatedly perform a recording/erasing by a thermal control, provide a favorable contrast, and also, preserve a recording which is stable with time under an environment of daily life. SOLUTION: This thermally reversible recording material contains an electron accepting compound and an electron donating coloring compound. In this case, the electron accepting compound is an N-alkylamide-carbamic acid represented by formula 1. (In the formula 1, R represents an alkyl group, and the number of carbon atoms of the alkyl group is at least 17). |
