PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cruciform member unit for securing centering even at a high speed. SOLUTION: This cruciform member unit 9 is provided with a centering element 23. Two arms 11 of axes y, z are housed in one yoke arm 19 of a joint yoke. Respective arms are connected to a centering element having a bearing bush 13, a pressure element 29 and a spring element 28 rotatably supported on a rolling contact member 14. The spring element 28 is supported in relation to the arm 11 and loads a bearing bush through the pressure element. The bearing bushes connected to axes y, z are housed in two yoke arms of the joint yoke. If the yoke arm 19 is deformed by centrifugal force depending on the rotational speed, the pressure element 29 is in contact with the bearing bush 13 as it is. In this method, the cruciform member unit 9 is centered and held in relation to the joint yoke. |
