PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve earthquake resisting performance by laying down a compression strut and prevent concrete from peeling. SOLUTION: Tension members 11 are installed onto the external surfaces of wall concrete 10 in the reinforced concrete-constructed earthquake resisting wall 2. The tension members 11 are mounted symmetrically on both surfaces of the wall concrete 10 to the central plane of the thickness of a wall. The tension members 11 are made of shape steel, and joined with columns 3 on both sides.
