<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat treating device for an automotive impact beam capable of uniformly and continuously executing heat treatment to an impact beam having a cross-sectional circular shape and an impact beam having a cross-sectional elliptical shape. SOLUTION: This device is composed of a step feeder 10 loaded with impact beams as the objects for treatment and continuously feeding the same to the side of a transferring device 20 in succession, an impact beam transferring device 20 horizontally transferring the impact beam fed from the step feeder 10 to one side at a fixed speed, a guide part 30, an impact beam rotation progressing part 40 infiltrating the impact beam passed through the guide part 30 into a space between a rotary drum 41 and a support roll 43 and rotating and progressing the same and a heat treating part 50 in which, while the impact beam rotated and progressed by the rotation progressing part 40 is passed through the central part of an induction coil 51, heat treatment by induction heating is executed, and the support roll 43 of the rotation progressing part 40 is composed of a taper support roll.</p> |
