<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail with height variable depending on one's height. SOLUTION: Vertical pipes 2, 3 are located between a lintel or a beam 17 or the like located thereabove and a corridor or a partition 18 or the like located therebelow and are fixed in place by metal fittings 19 at their tops and by screws 6 at their bottoms. A handrail 1 and a slider are integrated together and passed through the vertical pipes 2, 3 to move vertically through the vertical pipes 2, 3. When a person passes, the handrail is set and fixed in an upper position; when used as a handrail it is set in a lower position. When the handrail is set in the lower position, its height can be adjusted according to the person.</p> |
