PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washable and reusable cleaning tool, usable like a broomstick to be inserted into a vertical or horizontal narrow gap without raising dust, with a sweeping body capable of catching invisible particles and cotton dust, holding a cotton dust ball growing in the course of sweeping, and smoothly sliding on the floor surface even if the floor surface is wet. SOLUTION: This cleaning tool consists of three members, a holder 12, a handle 14 and a sweeper cloth 16. The handle 14 is attached to the upper side of the holder 12, and the sweeper cloth 16 is wound around the bottom of the holder 12. The holder 12 comprises a semi-cylindrical cover 12a and a pole-like elastic member 12b which is inserted into the opening side of the cover 12a. The sweeper cloth 16 consists of a base cloth 16a covering the holder 12 from the elastic member 12b side, and side clothes 16b and 16c expanding from both sides of the base cloth 16a. The base cloth 16a and side clothes 16b and 16c are made of knitted fabric, textured fabric or nonwoven fabric with dust catching power. Hook and loop fasteners 16d and 16e are sewn to opposite surfaces on the inner sides of upper parts of the base cloth 16a.
