<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a data transmitter that can record transmitted data even in the case that data reproduced at a variable speed from a recording tape medium are transmitted by adding an identification code to identify data of a frame whose recording is started from an even number order or an odd num ber order of tracks to digital data and transmitting the resulting digital data. CONSTITUTION: An IEEE1394 interface 14 converts DV data supplied from a digital signal processing section 13 into transmission data according to an IEEE1394 protocol. Thus, information to identify whether a frame is a front frame or a rear frame is added to each transmission frame on the basis of control information from a control section 15. A recorder 3 can discriminate whether a frame of received data is a front frame or a rear frame by adding a DFF to the DV data to be sent by a reproduction device 2. Thus, the recorder 3 can reproduce VAUX data.</p> |
