PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a camera capable of preventing a situation that a photographer touches a release button unconsciously and uselessly takes a photograph against photographer's will. SOLUTION: This camera is equipped with an eye approach detection means detecting whether or not a photographer's eye approaches the ocular window of a finder, an exposure means performing exposure to film, and a release button actuating the exposure means by pressing operation. It is equipped with a control means controlling so that the exposing action of the exposure means may be inhibited even though the pressing operation of the release button is performed when the eye approach detection means detects that the photographer' s eye does not approach the ocular window. |
