PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a duplication sever device for maintaining the consistency of duplication to be offered to a client between duplication sever devices, and for preventing old duplication from being offered to the client due to the generation of update in the other server device. SOLUTION: A duplication server 2 for storing the duplication of the data of a master server in a duplication storing part 12, and for offering the duplication to a client as the substitute of the master server is provided with a duplication sever processing part 18 which transmits information related with data update to the other duplication server having the common master sever based on a request for the update of the duplication held by the server itself, and which operates processing for obtaining the consistency of the duplication held by the server itself upon receiving the information from the other duplication server.
